This smoothie blender recipe was brought to my attention after reading an article about the health benefits of cinnamon. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine and has been for thousands of years. Recent western research has confirmed that after prolonged use of about 40 days it can reduce your bad cholesterol (LDL) and reduce glucose levels in diabetics permanently. Not only that, it tastes good! The best kind is the dark cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) . It has all the health benefits. Here's sweet recipe to get you on a cinnamon path strong and fast.
Ingredients
1 chopped banana
½ cup natural yogurt
1 teaspoon of honey
½ cup milk
2 Tablespoons of ground cinnamon

Add all the ingredients (except the honey) into your smoothie blender and blend until smooth.
* Next add the honey and give it a quick whizz to blend the honey in (by doing this way it prevents the honey from clogging and gathering around the blade).* Pour into glass and sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired, then enjoy!
